Not my day! Started ok, but it became clear by 15K sub-2:45 wasn’t on. Tried to just keep to marathon effort, and was on for 2:47-48, but then had a couple of rough patches where my breathing was tight, almost like a panic attack. Just tried to take it easy after that. Weather wasn’t the best, breezy and got soaked in the last 5K. Feeling fairly content to run 2:53 after all that. Given my injury troubles, nice to just finish a marathon, and something to build off for 2020… 🏃♂️💪👍
