My legs are feeling much better today, so was going to go for a 5K recovery run. However after a few hundred meters the quads were feeling fairly achey (no pain, just a bit sore) so I decided to abort and have a spin on the bike instead. Not much to be gained from a 5K recovery run, and plenty to be lost if I pick up an injury and go in to my next training block injured! Legs felt fine on the bike, nice to get the blood flowing and loosen up the muscles.
