I wasn’t looking forward to my first twenty minute run – the two eight minutes runs on Saturday were tough, so I wasn’t sure how I was going to make it all the way. However, the weather has gone much warmer this week, which made breathing much easier. I kept my pace deliberately slow, and managed the whole twenty minutes without any problem whatsoever. At an average pace of just over nine minutes a mile, including the warm-up and warm-down walk, I’m really pleased with my performance. Onwards and upwards!
