Well this week has been a complete write-off. On Sunday morning it was clear continuing to run on my injured ankle was a big mistake, as it felt stiff and painful. I decided to take a week off to give it time to heal, which has been very frustrating after building up a good momentum going out three times a week since I started the C25K programme.
The good news is my ankle is feeling a lot better now, with just the slightest twinge when going down stairs. I plan to give it another day of rest and then perhaps repeat a C25K week three run on Sunday to get me back in to things ahead of resuming week four next week. Fingers crossed!
