First time I’ve done a morning run commute in a while. Hard work! Don’t like running mornings but intend to start regularly doing these as running fasted is supposed to improve your body’s ability to utilise fat, which is great for the end of marathons.

Breezy easy w/2×(6x100m) strides

LSR down to Regent’s Park and back
Pleased with the pace today – first time I’ve done an LSR at this effort level with an average pace sub-8:00 min/mi. Especially as this came at the end of another 60+ mile week.
Mini-taper for the Bright10 race on Sunday, so an easier week next week.

GPS a bit screwy today, pretty sure pace should have been faster on the early section of the course. Strava backs this up, giving me an extra 0.2 miles.
