Felt a bit hung over today, and legs didn’t feel too strong on the warmup to the track so I wasn’t sure how today’s session would pan out. Felt strong once I got going though and managed a good, consistent pace.

Trying out my new trainer with Zwift

Got myself a Tacx Vortex Smart trainer so I can put in some cycling workouts without having to worry about British winter weather! I also figure if I pick up any injuries I’m less likely to do something stupid if I have an alternative exercise ready and waiting.

Zwift seems cool, but definitely need a fan as cycling is hot work without a breeze!

Easy run down to the City

First time I’ve done a morning run commute in a while. Hard work! Don’t like running mornings but intend to start regularly doing these as running fasted is supposed to improve your body’s ability to utilise fat, which is great for the end of marathons.
