Pleased with my pace here, before the final 1.5 miles of serious hills my average pace was 7:35 min/mile, a little quicker than my planned pace of 7:38. Think I may have had a bit of a tail wind in places, but still – positive run.

Nice easy run home, was careful to keep the pace slow and heart beat low even up the hills towards the end of the run. Loving the Mio Alpha HRM, so much better than a heart rate strap!

Very mixed weather – heavy rain one minute, sunshine the next. And quite windy in places too. Tried to keep my pace slow and steady, legs felt good with few niggles etc.

Slighty screwy tempo run

Not sure what was going on today but pace on my watch was all over the place, but I think broadly speaking I managed 3 miles at 7:50 pace, then backed down to 8:20 for the final 3. Feeling a bit tired this week so reasonably happy with that performance.
